This cutting is made with a chain saw, similar to the conventional model used for cutting wood. It is driven by either hydraulic, electrical or combustion engine, which transmits its power through pressurized hoses or power chains. It is used for those situations were no other machine can be used due to the complexity of the cutting or its difficult access. Its advantages are:
- It allows working under water.
- Easy to handle.
- Free of mechanical, electrical or chemical risks.
- High degree of versatility.
- Its operator has a complete freedom of movement.
- Jobs are well finished, even with difficult angles in the cutting surfaces.
- Neither vibrations nor pressure are applied on the cutting surfaces.
